Sinner’s knees retain separate legal counsel
Left knee seeks damages; right knee says it is “keeping all options open.”

Jannik Sinner’s knees have retained separate attorneys after disagreements emerged over how to respond to the ongoing controversy.
The left knee is seeking damages, enhanced security, and a written guarantee that no future practice sessions will be described as “a hit.”
The right knee favors a quieter resolution but has refused to rule out litigation.
“Our clients have supported Mr. Sinner throughout his career,” said counsel for the left knee. “Quite literally. They deserve a workplace where a racket bag contains rackets.”
Negotiations briefly stalled when the ATP attempted to classify the knees as independent contractors.
Both legal teams rejected an initial settlement offer consisting of complimentary tournament towels and access to the players’ buffet.
“You cannot put a price on peace of mind,” said the right knee’s attorney. “But we were particularly insulted that they tried to put a towel on it.”
The knees have agreed on one immediate demand: Andy Murray must stop texting them that “you get used to it.”
Sinner declined to intervene in the dispute.
“I support both sides,” he said.
His ankles have requested that he stop phrasing it that way.
