LOS ANGELES — Milwaukee support staff reportedly refused to enter the visitors’ clubhouse after discovering a beverage selection they described as “a vineyard tour with lockers.”
“We're here to play baseball, not attend a damn vineyard tour,” one staffer said, declining an explanation of the Cabernet’s tasting notes.
The Brewers said negotiations could resume as soon as someone located a cooler, a bottle opener and a drink that did not require being allowed to breathe.
