BYU fan after Notre Dame thriller: “All my wives are getting lucky tonight!”
Jubilant husband promises to spread the ball around; Sitake says he’s going for two.

PROVO, Utah — As BYU fans celebrated Saturday’s 28–24 upset of Notre Dame, one ecstatic supporter announced that the evening’s scoring was far from over.
“All my wives are getting lucky tonight!” he shouted outside the stadium.
His wives declined to rush the field.
Still wearing a foam finger, the fan outlined an ambitious postgame schedule that he described as “up-tempo, aggressive, and built around getting everybody involved.”
“You don’t win a game like this and go home and take a knee,” he said, opening a color-coded family calendar. “Nobody’s getting a bye tonight.”
Sources within the household described the announcement as the latest in a series of bold Saturday commitments that rarely survived the drive home.
“He makes that promise after every win,” one wife said. “Then he eats an entire pizza and falls asleep watching the highlights.”
Sitake: “We’re going for two”

At the postgame press conference, head coach Kalani Sitake unveiled an aggressive evening game plan of his own.
“My wife is getting lucky tonight. We’re going for two,” Sitake said, before declining to clarify whether that meant points, attempts, or a second trip through the drive-through.
“If I were Catholic, I’d have to go to confession after what I’m planning tonight,” he added. “Luckily, I can just watch the film on Monday and promise to execute better.”
Asked about Notre Dame’s inability to pull out a miracle at the end, Sitake expressed surprise.
“You’d think Notre Dame would have more practice at Hail Marys,” he said. “That’s not something you should be installing on Friday.”
A Fighting Irish spokesman said the school would review whether its prayers had been sent to the wrong coordinator.
“We’ve been saying Hail Marys all week,” he said. “Apparently we needed someone to catch one.”
Back outside the stadium, the jubilant BYU fan insisted this season felt different, pointing to the Cougars’ resilience as proof that great things happen when you believe in yourself.
“Let’s put together one successful drive,” another wife said, “before we start talking about a dynasty.”
