Belichick hires Petey Pablo as Minister of Culture: “Come on and raise up”
Players instructed to take their shirts off and spin them like a helicopter. Compliance reviewing.

CHAPEL HILL, NC — Bill Belichick has named Petey Pablo North Carolina’s first Minister of Culture after determining that “North Carolina” being shouted repeatedly was the clearest recruiting strategy anyone had presented.
“He knows the territory. He gives specific instructions. People follow them,” Belichick said. “That’s coaching.”
Pablo’s first team meeting ended with 85 shirts circling overhead and Belichick quietly cutting the sleeves off his.
The new minister insisted the sleeves were not the problem. Moments later, Belichick removed the rest of the shirt and began rotating it overhead with the expression of a man conducting a mandatory special-teams drill.
“Come on and raise up,” Belichick instructed, before correcting three players’ helicopter technique.
Asked whether the appointment would help him reach seven nattys, Belichick was direct.
“We’re taking our shirts off one at a time.”
